Football Recap: Westwood Warriors vs. Dobson Mustangs
Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 13-6 to the Dobson Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
A big part of Dobson's victory came down to the chemistry between Kayla Hayes and her top target Jaziah Billey. Hayes picked up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown while Billey picked up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown. What's more, Billey also racked up 26 rushing yards, the most she's had since back in September.
Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Dobson, their record is now 7-8.
As of now, neither Westwood nor Dobson have any future games scheduled.
