Volleyball Recap: Lilly Brady Key Part of Team Effort in Warriors Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Immanuel Christian, Quantico was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Wakefield Country Day Owls with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Quantico walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-19.

Quantico's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lilly Brady, who had 11 digs and two aces. What's more, Brady racked up 12 assists, the most she's had over her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Nicholson, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Quantico's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Wakefield Country Day, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Quantico will head out to take on Tandem Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wakefield Country Day, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Eukarya Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m.
