Soccer Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

Pendleton and Southside Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pendleton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Sabres by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Pendleton couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pendleton's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Southside Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Pendleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southside Christian, they will challenge Powdersville on Monday. Southside Christian will need to watch out since Powdersville have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
