Basketball Recap: Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep Comes Up Short

On Friday, Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep were beaten by the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights 50-22. Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Exeter-West Greenwich's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Hebert, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Hebert's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Niniola Olawuyi was another key player, going 6 of 13 en route to 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
