Volleyball Recap: Normandy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

If Normandy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hawken on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Invaders came up short against the Buckeye Bucks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Invaders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bucks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Normandy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Addison Giraldo paced Normandy's offense, picking up six kills. Giraldo got some help from Taylor Shaw and her 14 assists. Jessica Chuba controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Claire Miller, who had eight digs and four aces.

Normandy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. As for Buckeye, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Normandy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Westlake on the 18th. As for Buckeye, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against North Olmsted on the 18th.
