Soccer Recap: Green Forest Triumphs

Green Forest made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Dardanelle, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Green Forest Tigers' way against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards on Tuesday as the Green Forest Tigers made off with a 7-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Green Forest's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Dardanelle, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Dardanelle, they are taking a road trip to challenge Morrilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dardanelle has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
