Gordon Central's MJ Reynolds and Chandler Curtis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading AAA Region 5 in both passing and receiving yards. Reynolds has thrown for 1310 yards this season, while Curtis, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 14 catches for 368 yards. Coahulla Creek's Hunter Williams leads the league in rushing yards with 241.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Warriors take on Cartersville. Gordon Central has allowed 39 points this season, while the Hurricanes have given up 78.
