Volleyball Recap: Lansing Catholic Comes Up Short

Lansing Catholic lost against Gull Lake back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils 25-18 in the first set.

Lansing Catholic started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Lansing Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 24-7-2. As for Gull Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-16-1.

Lansing Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pewamo-Westphalia on the 28th. As for Gull Lake, they will challenge Caledonia at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th.
