It was a good run, but Rapides unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Savior Menard Eagles. The Mustangs lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 68-33 score last time.

Rapides' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10. As for Holy Savior Menard, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rapides will head out to square off against Oak Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Oak Hill's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. As for Holy Savior Menard, they will head out on the road to take on St. Joseph's - Plaucheville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Savior Menard is facing St. Joseph's - Plaucheville at the right time seeing as St. Joseph's - Plaucheville is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
