Soccer Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral managed to keep up with Great Oak until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Chaparral Pumas came up short against the Great Oak Wolfpack, falling 5-0. The Pumas have struggled against the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Great Oak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-1-3 record this season.

Chaparral is taking a road trip to face off against Murrieta Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Great Oak, they will challenge Temecula Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Great Oak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
