It was a good run, but Saint Francis unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Buchanan Bears by a score of 3-2.

Buchanan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Aaron, who had 37 digs and seven assists. Those 37 digs gave Aaron a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Gornick, who had 17 digs.

Saint Francis' loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Buchanan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

Saint Francis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory on the 30th. As for Buchanan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Clovis West on the 30th.
