Basketball Game Preview: Tipton Tigers vs. Regina Regals

Tipton is 0-10 against Regina since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Tipton Tigers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Regina Regals at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tipton comes in on three and Regina on five.

Tipton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Midland to the tune of 70-23 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Regina didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against West Branch on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 58-54 victory.

Regina pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Tipton, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Tipton was taken down by Regina 69-32 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Tipton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
