Basketball Recap: Gavin Lowery Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Indianapolis Arsenal Technical

There's no place like home for Indianapolis Shortridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 67-63 victory over the Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Titans on Thursday. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 63-53 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indianapolis Shortridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Lowery, who posted 19 points along with six boards and three steals. Those six rebounds gave Lowery a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Wilson, who scored 19 points and seven boards.

When it comes to explaining why Indianapolis Arsenal Technical lost, don't look at Salmone Mitchell. Despite the final result, he put up 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Chris Ingram also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Indianapolis Shortridge's record now sits at 7-10. As for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
