Volleyball Recap: Chaminade Gets the Win

Chaminade's tournament run continued when they took on Troy-Buchanan on Saturday. Chaminade walked away with a 2-0 victory over Troy-Buchanan.

Hector Lopez Rovira paced Chaminade's offense, picking up eight kills. Lopez Rovira got some help from Alex Temporiti and his nine assists. Lopez Rovira was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Chaminade's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Troy-Buchanan, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Chaminade will be playing at home against Lindbergh at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Troy-Buchanan, they are taking a road trip to take on Howell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
