Softball Recap: Lead Hill Takes a Loss

Lead Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-2 to the Flippin Bobcats. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in April of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lead Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Flippin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Lead Hill will host Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.22 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Flippin, they will challenge Melbourne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
