With a playoff win on the line, Valley Regional rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top against the East Hampton Bellringers by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 25-16.
Nia Marchese paced Valley Regional's offense, picking up 22 kills. Marchese got some help from Kellyn Kolber and her 33 assists. Hallie Moore and Helen Manco kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with six aces apiece.
Valley Regional's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for East Hampton, they dropped their record down to 13-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
As of now, neither Valley Regional nor the Bellringers have any future games scheduled.
