Volleyball Recap: Mahpiya Luta Takes a Loss

Mahpiya Luta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Thomas More Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Mahpiya Luta's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for St. Thomas More, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Mahpiya Luta and St. Thomas More will both be playing Brookings the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Crusaders will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
