Marist posted their biggest victory since March 1, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Cottage Grove Lions 59-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Marist is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Cottage Grove, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

When Marist and Cottage Grove next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Marist will try to stop Stayton's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Cottage Grove will take on Marshfield and their three-game winning streak at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
