Ellet's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the East Dragons 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Orangemen in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won eight in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ellet took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-7.

Janiyah Carter paced Ellet's offense, picking up five kills. Carter got some help from Riley Kearns and her ten assists. Sariyah Morris controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory got Ellet back to even at 10-10. As for East, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Ellet wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Firestone on the 9th. As for East, after both having extra time off, they and Springfield will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
