Basketball Recap: Telos Comes Up Short

Telos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders and fell 58-29. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Telos of the 67-45 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Telos lost, don't look at Jacobb Prussman. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. Prussman is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Shayne Simpson was a one-man wrecking crew for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams as he went 11 of 20 en route to 26 points. Those 26 points gave Simpson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hunter Sandoval, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Telos' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-15.

Telos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-52 victory against Dugway on the 15th. Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams has also already played their next game, a 66-30 defeat against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on the 17th.
