Softball Recap: Cheyenne Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cheyenne's offense. They came up short against the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls on Wednesday, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Desert Shields' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cheyenne now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheyenne will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Canyon Springs at 3:30 p.m. on March 24th. Cheyenne is facing Canyon Springs at the right time seeing as Canyon Springs is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will challenge Del Sol at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sports Leadership & Management's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
