Baseball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Central Montcalm's 12th in Last 13 Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Richmond, Central Montcalm was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Reese Rockets by a score of 6-2.

Central Montcalm is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Reese, they dropped their record down to 5-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Montcalm will face off against Montabella at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.78 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Reese, they will host Vassar at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets are facing the Vulcans at the right time seeing as the Vulcans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
