It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but River Oaks ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tensas Academy Chiefs by a score of 11-7. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Logan Laforge made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Kaden Ramer was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Jayden Davis was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI.

River Oaks' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5.
