Volleyball Recap: Sedgwick Comes Up Short

Sedgwick lost against Hillsboro back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sedgwick may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Amyah Werth, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 17 times she's played.

Sedgwick's defeat dropped their record down to 29-12. As for Hillsboro, they pushed their record up to 31-9 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Sedgwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillsboro, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Moundridge on the 25th.
