Football Recap: Olmsted Falls Falls Short of Ross in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Olmsted Falls and Ross squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Olmsted Falls had to settle for second. They were dealt a 69-38 loss at the hands of the Little Giants. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (34), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Leading Ross to victory were Ben Waggoner and Jamiere Johnson. Waggoner rushed for 109 yards and two TDs on only six carries, while Johnson rushed for 77 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Olmsted Falls and nudges their season record down to 6-5. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.0 points over those games. As for Ross, their record is now 7-4.

Coming up, Olmsted Falls is taking a road trip to challenge Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them. Ross does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
