Soccer Recap: Maricopa Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crismon two weeks ago, Maricopa came back down to earth. The Maricopa Rams fell just short of the Eastmark Firebirds by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.

Tadashi Harris wasn't going to let Eastmark walk away unscathed as he scored both of Maricopa's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eastmark, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Maricopa will be home for the holidays to greet Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastmark, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Canyon View on the 16th.
