Volleyball Recap: Jackson Memorial Triumphs

Jackson Memorial won the last time they faced Pennsauken and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jaguars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

While Jackson Memorial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-13.

Daniel Barry paced Jackson Memorial's offense, picking up 12 kills. Barry got some help from Reyhan Talib and his 25 assists. Barry was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Jackson Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Pennsauken, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Looking ahead, Jackson Memorial will be taking part in a tournament against Gloucester County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Pennsauken does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
