Everything went the Aztecs' way against the Gonzales Spartans as they made off with a 65-40 victory with plenty of help from Morales Jr, who shot 54% from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least 16 points.
Soledad's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Gonzales, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.
