Soccer Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Omak Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Oroville of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Oroville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Omak, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oroville will venture away from home to square off against Chelan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Chelan's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Omak, they will face off against Bridgeport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
