Football Game Preview: Ezekiel Academy Knights vs. Stewart County Royal Knights

The Ezekiel Academy Knights will face off against the Stewart County Royal Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Ezekiel Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Lighthouse HomeSchool, who was ranked 16th at the time (Ezekiel Academy was ranked 18th). The Knights received a blow on Friday as they fell 54-38 to the Warriors. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stewart County). They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Baker County 60-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royal Knights.

Ezekiel Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Stewart County, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Ezekiel Academy strolled past Stewart County when the teams last played back in August by a score of 44-28. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royal Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
