Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

The Tri-Valley Bulldogs came up short against the Schuylkill Valley Panthers on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Tri-Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 15 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-20, 10-15.

When it comes to explaining why Tri-Valley lost, don't look at Kirra Klinger. Despite the final result, she had 28 digs and two aces. Klinger has been hot recently, having posted 25 or more digs the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Callie Melocheck, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 24-3. As for Schuylkill Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

As of now, neither Tri-Valley nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
