Basketball Recap: Beaver River Comes Up Short

The Beaver River Beavers ended up a good deal behind the West Canada Valley Nighthawks on Saturday and lost 52-35.

Beaver River's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Canada Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Beaver River and West Canada Valley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Beavers are set to face off against their familiar foe Sandy Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Canada Valley will challenge rival Oriskany at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
