The 2023 high school softball season is already underway in Southern California and Texas. The rest of the country will join the mix in the coming weeks. Defending state champions and teams seeking redemption after falling short last spring all have a fresh start and renewed optimism for a long run that will take them through the end of the season in late May or June.
The
Preseason MaxPreps Top 25 was released last week, spotlighting teams expected to make noise on a national level this spring. Today, we dive a little deeper with a look at the best team in each state.
