Basketball Recap: Christopher Comes Up Short

Christopher lost against Johnston City two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Christopher Bearcats were dealt a 52-23 defeat at the hands of the Johnston City Indians.

Christopher has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Johnston City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christopher will welcome Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shawnee will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Christopher surely won't give up without a fight. As for Johnston City, they will face off against Anna-Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
