Baseball Recap: Emery Takes a Loss

Emery had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 7-16 to make it four. They fell 6-2 to the Delta Rabbits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Thursday.

As for Delta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games.

For Delta's part, Ty Stefanoff was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits Stefanoff has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunt Robinson, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Emery is set to take on their familiar foe Carbon at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Delta will face off against rival North Sanpete at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
