Softball Recap: Federal Hocking Takes a Loss

Federal Hocking was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to the Eastern Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 20-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Federal Hocking's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastern, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Federal Hocking is set to face off against their familiar foe Waterford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastern will take on rival Trimble at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
