Basketball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook lost against Heritage back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Millbrook Wildcats came up short against the Heritage Huskies, falling 48-22. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Millbrook saw an underclassman step up: freshman Korryn Dixon posted ten points. Dixon continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Millbrook has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Heritage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Millbrook will square off against Wakefield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Millbrook surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heritage, they will face off against Wake Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage is facing Wake Forest at the right time seeing as Wake Forest is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
