Soccer Game Preview: Cosby vs. Carter

Cosby is 0-3 against Carter since April of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will face off against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Cosby has given up an average of 6.1 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cosby's offense. They came up short against University School on Tuesday, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Cosby have lost by exactly nine goals.

Meanwhile, Carter entered their match against Cocke County on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets fell just short of the Fighting Cocks by a score of 3-2.

Carter suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 11-5. As for Cosby, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Cosby suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Carter in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
