Soccer Game Preview: MacArthur vs. Nimitz

The MacArthur Cardinals are taking a road trip to challenge the Nimitz Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, MacArthur turned things around against Richardson on Friday. They and the Eagles finished up their match with a 3-3 draw. The result was nothing new for MacArthur as the squad haven't won a game since January 10th.

Meanwhile, Nimitz didn't have quite enough to beat Dallas Jesuit on Friday and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Nimitz in their meetings with Dallas Jesuit: they've now lost six in a row.

Nimitz's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-4. MacArthur's draw makes their record 4-10-2 this season.

MacArthur suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Nimitz when the teams last played back in January. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
