Softball Game Preview: West Carroll Thunder vs. Warren/Stockton Warhawks

West Carroll hasn't had much luck against Warren/Stockton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Thunder will head out to face off against the Warhawks at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

West Carroll is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Thursday. They lost 8-2 to River Ridge/Scales Mound.

Meanwhile, Warren/Stockton unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 6-2 to Galena.

Warren/Stockton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for West Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 5-20.

West Carroll suffered a grim 15-4 defeat to Warren/Stockton in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Thunder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
