Valley Christian Academy is a perfect 4-0 against Coastal Christian since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Conquerors at 6:00 p.m. Valley Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Coastal Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Valley Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 67-6 win over San Luis Obispo Classical Academy. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 88th).

Meanwhile, Coastal Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 36-12 to Kings Christian.

Valley Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Coastal Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Valley Christian Academy's way against Coastal Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Valley Christian Academy made off with a 52-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
