Baseball Recap: Webberville Takes a Loss

Webberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Lansing Christian Pilgrims. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

JOSHUA BOSCHMA was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Webberville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lansing Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Webberville will welcome Hill-McCloy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lansing Christian, they will square off against St. Patrick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
