Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Blessed Trinity walked away with it. They beat the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Blessed Trinity sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Alba Zaccagnino was the driving force of Blessed Trinity's attack as she scored both of Blessed Trinity's goals, bringing her season total up to 12 goals.

Blessed Trinity pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they moved to 13-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Blessed Trinity will square off against Allatoona on Thursday. Allatoona will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Blessed Trinity surely won't give up without a fight. St. Pius X Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
