Smithville is 8-2 against Rittman since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Smithville Smithies will head out on the road to take on the Rittman Indians at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Smithville is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Clairsville just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 70-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. The loss put an end to the Smithies' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Rittman played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 65-42 to Chippewa.

Having lost for the first time this season, Smithville fell to 7-1. As for Rittman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Smithville's way against Rittman in their previous matchup back in February, as Smithville made off with a 54-33 victory. Will Smithville repeat their success, or does Rittman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
