Softball Recap: Pungo Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Pungo Christian Academy was the 6-0 winner over Rocky Mount Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders came up short against the Eagles on Thursday, falling 10-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pungo Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Rocky Mount Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Pungo Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-10 win against Ridgecroft on the 29th. As for Rocky Mount Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on May 2.
