Lynden is a perfect 5-0 against Mt. Baker since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will challenge the Mountaineers at 4:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Lynden and Sedro-Woolley finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Burlington-Edison.

Mt. Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. Lynden's draw makes their record 3-1-2 this season.

Lynden took their victory against Mt. Baker in their previous matchup back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 5-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
