Christ Our Rock Lutheran dropped their record down to 15-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost  17-7 to the Casey-Westfield Warriors. The pitching woes were  uncharacteristic for the Silver Stallions, who until this  contest were averaging 2.61  runs allowed.
 Christ Our Rock Lutheran saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emma Williamson, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  runs. Another  was  Kylie Nalewajka, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
As for Casey-Westfield, the  win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 28-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 games by six  runs or more this season.
On Casey-Westfield's side,  Ava Goble made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  six innings while giving up  six earned runs off   seven  hits. Goble has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  firing off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Lucy Moore and  Anna Karras did most of the damage at the plate:  Moore  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles, while  Karras  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  doubles  Moore has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Arhianna Bonds, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and one  stolen base.
 Christ Our Rock Lutheran has  already played their next  match (against Neoga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Casey-Westfield, they will challenge Mattoon at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
