It was a proper cat-fight when Lake Catholic challenged Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on Saturday. The Cougars walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Lions. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peter Malchesky, who picked up 38 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Another back making a difference was Danny Zmorowski, who rushed for 101 yards and one score.

Lake Catholic was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 228 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Lake Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
