Volleyball Game Preview: Homer Knights vs. Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers

The Homer Knights will face off against the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Homer took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Creighton as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Knights not only won last Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Bancroft-Rosalie made easy work of Omaha Nation on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Bancroft-Rosalie walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-17.

Homer's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-6. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Everything went Homer's way against Bancroft-Rosalie in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Homer made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
