Softball Recap: Times Squared Academy Takes a Loss

If Times Squared Academy was feeling good fresh off their 17-3 takedown of Mt. Pleasant on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Central Knights on Monday, falling 18-8. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Times Squared Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashley Baez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Times Squared Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Central, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

As of now, neither Times Squared Academy nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
